Davis County, Utah begins its first external jail audit using the Gryphyn Audit System
Layton, UT (March 19, 2008). Davis County began conducting its first external jail audit today. Inspectors from the Utah Sheriffs' Association will verify compliance to policies, procedures and operations using the Gryphyn Audit System.
This web-based system is used statewide, allowing jails to conduct thorough inspections with the ability to manage, track, monitor and follow up on compliance to 530 unique jail standards.

Utah Sheriffs' Association reaches milestone with over 15,000 jail standards audited statewide
Approximately 15,041 jail standards have been individually inspected across the state of Utah in less than 6 months using the Gryphyn Audit System.

1.31.2008.

Utah Department of Corrections Inmate Placement Program (IPP) begins training for Gryphyn Audit System.
IPP coordinators for the Utah Department of Corrections attended a training on Gryphyn Audit System, enabling them to monitor the results of jail audits and inspections conducted in county jail facilities that house state inmates.
